Following the bilateral agreements signed between Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan on 1st May 2016 and for the purpose to establish strategic business partnerships, Global Projects Development Holding Co. (TATWEER) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Government of Turkmenistan represented by the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan (TFEB).
The signing ceremony was held during the Islamic Development Bank Group 42nd Annual Meeting, at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah. The MoU was signed by Dr. Bader Al Busaies, the managing partner of Global Tatweer, and Mr. Rahimberdi Jebparov, the Chairman of the Board at the TFEB.
The MoU aims to strength the business relationship between the two countries by identifying and exploring the opportunities and exchange the information and ideas to create strategic partnerships in Turkmenistan. The lucrative investment opportunities involve various sectors like energy, manufacturing, telecommunication, infrastructure as well as tourism.
